Privacy policy.
Iris Signs Ltd handles your information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it and what we never do with it.
Last updated March 2025
What we collect
Only what we need to quote, print and deliver your job.
- Contact details — name, business name, email, phone and delivery address.
- Order details — products, quantities, sizes and delivery preferences.
- Artwork files you upload or email to us for production.
- Basic site analytics such as pages viewed and approximate region.
Payment information
We do not store credit card numbers. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, and bank transfers are reconciled against your invoice number only.
How we use it
- Producing a quote and manufacturing your order.
- Arranging courier delivery or notifying you that pickup is ready.
- Invoicing, and meeting our tax record-keeping obligations.
- Sending order updates. Marketing email only if you opt in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link.
Your artwork
Artwork you supply stays yours. We archive print-ready files for 12 months so reorders match the original run exactly, and we never license, resell or publish your artwork. We only feature completed work in our portfolio with your permission.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete your order — our courier for delivery, our payment provider for card transactions, and our accountant for statutory records. We never sell your data.
Cookies
This site stores your cart, saved products and theme preference in your browser's local storage so your basket survives a refresh. Clearing your browser data removes all of it. We do not use advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or have it deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. Email info@irissigns.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.
Security
Files and customer records are held on access-controlled systems. If a privacy breach ever posed a risk of serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as the Act requires.
